heart of Renaissance Rome.
Through the antique wrought iron palazzo gates and tucked away in a quiet corner of the Casa Banzo courtyard is this newly restored Rome self-catering apartment.
The
studio is set on two levels and the design is open plan. An entrance
hall at ground level leads to the living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. A
sofa bed offers extra sleeping space. The bathroom with shower is also on the
ground level.
On the upper level the mezzanine offers a spacious double bedroom and sitting
area , comfortably furnished in keeping with the general décor. This Rome
apartment is also surprisingly
quiet considering the very central location in the Campo de’ Fiori area of
Rome.
The
apartment also sports many of the original 17th century characteristics with its lovely stone portal in the hallway,
the lion's head fountain and the carefully
renovated wooden ceilings.
Perfect for discerning visitors, this Rome accommodation is ideal for two but also more than comfortable for a family of four.

Pietŕ, near Piazza Farnese,
Campo de’ Fiori
& Piazza
Navona. That's to say, the very centre of beautiful rome. The Roman antiquities,
the magnificence of the Colosseum and the splendor of St. Peter’s Basilica are but a
short walkaway. The River Tiber,
Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and other sites are all within very easy reach.

Eating out in rome is simply a question of choosing from the many pizzerias, trattorias and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the property. "Campo de’ Fiori" as well as the "Trastevere" area are particularly well known amongst Romans wishing to dine out and pass the evening hours 'al fresco'.

Guests have often commented on how beautiful the Casa Banzo Palazzo and accommodation is: it is worth having a look around, but please remember that it is a private residence. By booking into this property you are not booking into a hotel.

and B&B: two double bedrooms
and a triple facing
into the central courtyard. - Private parking space may be possible and by prior arrangement only.
- In the month of August only the initial cleaning is provided in the self-catering apartments and the double rooms. Daily cleaning (not Sundays, Christmas day or New Year’s Day) is available only from September to July. There is no washing machine in the apartments although there is a coin-operated launderette nearby.
- Casa Banzo is a private, self-catering, residence and although there is cleaning staff there is no hotel service such as porter or room service, telephone or fax (although if you ask kindly before hand something may be arranged if possible).
