This
beautifully furnished 1st floor self-catering Rome accomodation for 2 is in the
heart of the city's historical centre. Accomodation Farnese is in the
Rennaissance district of Rome just off Piazza Farnese with its Farnese
palace (designed by Michelangelo) and adjacent to Piazza Campo de' Fiori,
renowned for its characteristic market. Piazza Navona is just up the road.
You
could not be deeper into the city of rome, in your own renaissance cobbled
street by the Tiber river with one of the most beautiful squares just a pace
away. The ancient map on the right gives an idea of the wonders found around
there.
Every effort has been made to provide accommodation retaining as far as possible the original features of the building.
The
apartment is original, charming and comfortable and much care has been taken to
furnish the interior to a high standard. This accomodation is perfect for
discerning guests who can enjoy the pleasures of their surroundings. The layout
is that of a large studio with a wide archway between the bedroom area (the bed
is large and round - quite sumptuous!) and sitting room. A corridor facing onto
the internal courtyard leads to the separate kitchen and bathroom.
Features such as the original fire-place, ceilings, antique décor and artwork give the whole apartment a very special feel: picture page.
a step away from your self-catering
Rome
accomodation...all amenities are available and shopping as well as one of Rome's most characteristic markets are all in the vicinity at Piazza Campo de' Fiori. The nearby streets offer a host of enticing little shops, artisan workshops and cafés. A wealth of restaurants and Trattorias ensure every opportunity to relax and enjoy a good meal after a busy day’s sightseeing.
Eating out is simply a question of choosing from the many pizzerias, Trattorias and restaurants in the area. The "Trastevere" is particularly well known amongst Romans who like to dine out and pass a few very pleasant evening hours with family or friends.
Many
of Rome's most famous sites and monuments can be reached on foot given the
excellent location. The Pantheon
and Piazza Navona are at most 5 minutes away and in 15 minutes one can reach Capitol
Hill with the Forum and Colosseum
to follow. The area is also well connected by public transport for visiting
other areas of the city
